This lovely lady is the female pig or sow from our family of model fibreglass pigs.

She is slightly smaller than her male counterpart, and portrays everything that a boar looks for in a mate; namely a nice long snout, soft feminine flank, large ears and of course a curly tail. She really is a "Porker`s Pin-up"...

This Sow is made of strong stuff -  even when she is having her waistline measured. Delivered fully painted as seen in the illustration; she arrives ready to grace your home, garden or event.

Foyle`s War Series 6 (On air in UK during 2008)

Take a close look at the lifelike herd of pigs appearing in the latest series of Foyles` War. This popular detective drama starring Michael Kitchen is set against the backdrop of World War II, and in  the Broken Souls episode, the writers had included pigs in the script.

Unable to use real pigs as extras due to an unfortunate outbreak of Foot & Mouth in the area of filming, the producers went for the next best thing, and took our entire stock of life size fibreglass model pigs. (....we can only assume they added suitable sound fx!)

This charming little fellow bares a remarkable resemblance to his parents.

The model piglet has the same attributes as the other pigs in our range; he is very robust and extremely lifelike.

Measuring 60cm long, for interested pig farmers out there, his traits appear to indicate a cross between a Landrace and Large White breeds.

GLOUCESTER OLD SPOTTED PIG MODEL

Recognized as the oldest pedigree spotted pig in the world, this spotted model pig is based on the renowned real versions which were were raised on dairy by-products (such as whey) and orchard "drop fruit". Thus giving these pigs the nicknames "cottage pig" and "orchard pig."

This breed is regarded as thrifty and excellent foragers, supplementing their feed with roots and vegetation. Additional commonalilties among these breeds include excellent maternal instincts and even temperament. Well this model pig certainly guarantees that it will not bite,and is easily fed.

And as the real Gloucester Old Spot remains remarkably hardy today. so does its` model .They can withstand harsh weather and adverse conditions. This is in part due to the breed's higher body fat ratio; or in the case of the model pig, the great paintwork !

This model pig is the baby of the bunch.
He`s a miniature boar, and is a cute wee guy.

The mini pig model is extremely robust and durable, and is suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
