Cow Lying or Lying Cow

This is not your typical lazy cow; but a model which accurately depicts a rather alert  holstein cow taking a well earned rest.

The model cow lying down on the job has metal lugs attached to her body to enable her to be secured to any surface she is positioned on. The type of surface is immaterial. It could be grass, in which tent pegs could be used, alternatively if it is a solid surface, the model cow can be bolted or screwed down to secure her. 

Incidentally, this cow is one of the few fibreglass bovine models which we stock possessing horns.

As with all these cow models, the lying cow can easily be customised. This can be undertaken by our own artist working to a brief; or clients` can paint these ladies themselves. A standard acrylic paint is all that is required along with a little imagination. 

This plastic cow is equally at home indoors or outside.

Irish Kerry Cow

For this commission, the clients requested that the animal model be converted into a rare Kerry Cow.

Following a series of discussions, we established a detailed brief from the client as to how the Kerry Cow should look. Our artist then completed an accurate interpretation to the delight of the clients. The cow will shortly be on public display in Ireland.  

Yazoo Promo Cow 

A major dutch dairy company believes that successful innovations are a key method to developing growth and increasing sales within a brand.

In order to promote one of their dairy products, in 2008, a themed "Big Kidz" tour was organised to market the brand throughout the UK.

This involved the conversion and customising of two VW camper vans by a company specialising in promotional vehicle concepts.

Prior to conversion, we received artist`s impressions in order to ensure the lying cow met the clients` requirements.

Both vans underwent complete makeovers; being totally resprayed and branded. The second van was then "re-sized" and one of our lying cows was bolted down securely onto the roof. A drawbar was fitted to this one, in order for it to be towed by the other. 

The model cow had also undergone a transformation since delivery, to compliment similar cow designs which were part of a national advertising campaign.  

Star Gazing Cows 

Not to be outdone, our standing cow models back at the store decided that they could easily perform a lying down pose for the photographer - however we did not expect them to lie on their backs with their feet in the air....
