Description
Life Size Model Mallard Duck
Not Such An Ugly Duckling
The mallard is a dabbling duck that breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical areas of the world. This handsome drake figure has a textured body that accurately depicts feathers, and a smoother surface for the neck area.
Mallard Duck Model Sitting
The Eyes have it…..the Eyes have it
The eyes are dark pools, ringed with yellow. Mallards have the predation-avoidance behaviour of sleeping with one eye open, allowing one brain hemisphere to remain aware while the other half sleeps.
Captain Drake
This male bird figurine is 46cm (18 inches) long, of which the body makes up around two-thirds the length. The model is depicted as sitting or lying down, and so has a height of 22cm. (9 inches) This drake model also appears to be fully capable of swimming.
Feeding the Ducks
Mallards are a common sight in urban parks, lakes, ponds, and other human-made water features in the regions they inhabit, and are often tolerated or encouraged in human habitat due to their placid nature towards humans and their beautiful and iridescent colours, and so this model drake would be at home near any of these localities.

This is perfectly illustrated in the gallery where individual clients mix with zoos, science museums, marketing companies, universities, egg businesses, food companies, charities and children`s farm attractions.

Bird Models for Marketing
The surfaces of the 3D model birds have a lovely textured resin finish which makes a great feature as a POS model. The bird props would also enhance your stand at a trade-show, game fair or exhibition; and have a huge impact for any farm-shop, pet shop, animal-feed store looking for a unique method to promote wild-fowling or poultry.
The high quality of the detail in the modelling, would fit into any woodland, countryside or farm attraction, themed area or in shops, businesses, pubs, restaurants, adventure golf courses, theme parks or even in your own garden.
We recommend that all the animal models which are going to be used outdoors be coated with a transparent gloss of UV resistant varnish, but we would advise where possible placing the models inside during winter months.
