Our custom-built turfboard—also called a model animal trolley, plinth, or “skateboard”—makes it easy to move and display life-size plastic animal models with style.
Made from 18mm structural-grade plywood, the oval platform has sealed edges for added durability and moisture resistance. Beneath, strengthening timber adds support, while a polythene barrier protects against damp. On top, realistic green artificial turf creates a clean, professional finish that blends seamlessly into any display.

Castor Wheels

All larger animal models are manufactured with integrated metal spars moulded beneath the hooves, with pre-drilled holes;allowing them to be safely bolted onto the turfboard. This ensures stability during transport and display, even in high-traffic or outdoor environments.

To elevate the presentation, each animal “skateboard” is finished with a layer of realistic artificial turf, transforming it into a true turfboard.
